Add and Delete Points

Add or Create a Point Entity

Select the Add Point command under the Point pull-down menu (Point-Add Point).

Add a point by positioning the cursor where you want the point and clicking the left mouse button. Each time you click the left mouse button, a new point will be created.

This is what you might see after creating 5 new point entities. Note that for point entities, the “edit” point is defined as a circle.

Moving a Point Entity

Points can be moved or dragged with the Edit-Move Point command. Right click on the point to set its [X,Y,Z] coordinates.

Delete a Point Entity

Select the Delete Pnt command under the Point pull-down menu. Position the cursor on each point you want to delete and click the left mouse button. You can keep deleting points until you select another command.
