How Do You Edit or Change the Shape of a Curve?

The basic way to edit or change the shape of the curve is by moving the defining points with the Move Point command.

To edit the shape of a curve:

1.   Select the Edit-Move Point command or the Move Point button on the toolbar.

2.   Grab the point you wish to move with the left mouse button and drag it to a new location while holding the left button down. When you are done moving the point, release the button.

3.   Repeat step 2 as many times as you want for any edit point on any geometry. The Move Point command will stay active or current until you select another command.

Note 1: The Move Point command will work on any edit point on any type of geometric entity. You do not have to first select any geometry before you edit its shape. The edit points are always on by default.

Note 2: To see the exact X,Y,Z position of any edit point, do a right-click on the point. A dialog box will show the current location of the point and allow you to type in a new position.
